Howie,

I have been in CSCO since 1992. I do not want to waste the CSCO board on this.
Of course, we have all seen CSCO correct from time to time. Agreed.
However, if you look at that, it happened while the Naz or the networking
sector was under pressure, as a whole. Understand?

My point is why is CSCO pulling back here while it's sector is so strong
now and the NAZ enthusiasm is boiling over?
I have made a lot of money in CSCO as well as others over the years. I do
not follow what shorts are doing: I wouldn't even know where to look. Hope
you are right about earnings. I have used technical analysis for 10 years
now and about 75-90% of the time the charts tell you something before the
newswires do. I saw it coming with IBM at $130..............it's now 40
points lower. And, the list goes on.

I hope CSCO blows out estimates and even announces a 4:1 split as my QCOM
did this week. I would be thrilled.
I hope they do and I would ask you to e-mail me after the earnings so that
I can hear it from you! Really.

In the meantime, there is an unsettling feeling with CSCO.

Steve
