MSFT RULING: MSFT RULING (POS OR NEG) WILL LEAD MARKET 1,200 DOW POINTS UP OR DOWN FROM DOW 10,700 BETWEEN NOW AND YEAR-END '99. WILL MSFT SEAL THE DEAL TO NEW BROAD MARKET HIGHS OR KILL THE GOLDEN GOOSE DEAD IN ITS TRACKS AND PRO-LONG CORRECTION?

More shortly.

Best Regards, J.T.

This rally today is pathetic. The employment numbers were baked to perfection for the Bulls and we are not holding significant gains.

I posted upside exhaustion numbers before the bell this morning thinking we would get this bounce higher after the small morning one hour pullback, but this has not materialized. Intraday highs were achieved in the first half hour of trading:

UPSIDE PRE-OPEN TARGETS: INTRADAY ACHIEVED HIGH:

DOW: 10,880 DOW: 10,842
SPX: 1,400 SPX: 1,385
BKX: 920 BKX: 900
NDX: 2,780 NDX: 2,765

We are moving lower into the bell.

Best Regards, J.T.
