Excellent post! The only thing I can add is that this is
an example of how intense Sycamore's competition is. Ciena's
product line is also more proven and mature than theirs.
Like I said in a previous post, no one is going to deploy
any of scmr's equipment in the core without at least
18 mos of testing. Any revenue in the near future is
going to come from testing units and lab promises.

BTW, while I have your attention, how common is it for a customer to go ahead and announce a contract/agreement while still in trials with the equipment? The Williams contract with Ciena is a bit confusing to me per:

I suspect just as two competitors can be used in the same space by a customer, so can the blurring of trial vs. usage?
