Herr Professor! Yeah, I know straight mutual funds, I was actually looking for a more flexible trading vehicle -- you know, a kind of Lay-Z-Trader's Small Cap Unit Trust. U buy the fund; THEY do the work. Then, naptime over, U sell and pocket the cash. Simple. Oakmark's small cap fund, by the way, has had a horrible couple of years -- way behind their peers and way behind the S&P/BARRA small cap value index; it will be interesting to see how they move through the next few months.
