Lebo, NDB is an interesting play. Not only do they have the OLB operation, but they own Sherwood Securities, a mid size market maker (MM symbol: SHWD).

I believe they route trades both to NITE (for order flow), and most certainly to SHWD. The question regarding SHWD is can they survive and prosper as a mid-size MM?

Also, the question with NDB is can the survive and grow as a mid-tier OLB? My feeling regarding the OLBs is that the big guys like EGRP, AMTD, and TD will survive, and they will be challenged by the online operations of the old discount, and full service guys like SCH, Fido, ML, PW, etc.

I'm not sure where this leaves NDB, SWS, JBOH, etc.

OLB-wise I think one needs to stick with SCH and EGRP for longer term holds in this sector. For trading though, just throw a dart at any of these <g>. I hold no position in any of these stocks.
