I'd expect MSFT investors to be peevish, but as someone who is forced to use their products because there are no practical alternatives, I applaud this decision. There's nothing the government likely will do that could possibly prevent Microsoft from writing and selling good software; it's possible that their actions will encourage real competition, which can't help but improve the lot of the PC user. -mb
