trying to compare many of these net companies is difficult and we can forget pe and the rest, but i will try to give you my sense of where i think qxl is headed.

qxl expected after the ipo to have a market cap of 750,000 pounds or over u.s. 1 billion. what has changed, was the british desire for interet stocks collapsed and with it the market cap of qxl by the time of the ipo.

currently the market cap of qxl is about 500 u.s. million. even from our current point of 22, we should expect to see a minimum of 44 to equal the expected market cap at the ipo.

we also know that most ipo's keep going up, so the estimate qxl expected at the ipo, was probably conservative and qxl probably expected it to be worth more than the estimate, to show how successful it was beyond their dreams.

i am not sure how else to value this company, but to know they also added another country since the ipo, alliances and the auctioning off of wembley stadium.

care to give me your best guess?
