I would go with an "alpha dog" hypothesis, i.e., ECD already has two very big guys in Stempel and Ovshinsky. They've been able to develop a pretty good partnership. Baker may have anticipated that Stan would bow out more completely, and sooner, than he has. With Stan still in the saddle as a decision maker, Baker said "so long." RE: the money aspect of the story. You're absolutely right that we'll be able to tell what he's getting paid as an officer from the SEC filings,and I'm willing to bet that he'll be getting more from ERIM.
