vc21: Where is the selling pressure coming from? Retail or institutional? Funds might not want to take the cap gains tax hit as I am sure that they are low cost basis owners. Those funds who wanted out have been selling all along right up until this point. Yesterday 40% of the volume was block trades. Even after the judges decision the after hrs quotes were down to 86 and then back up to 87 and change. The spreads were reasonable on both Instinet and Island where 1.6 million shares were handled after the close. No doubt a downward bias but I think everyone expected this decision - they just didn't expect the judge to be so obviously prejudiced in his rhetoric JFD

>>I agree with you but my opinion is that it opens at 80 1/8, then moves up about a point to a point and a half to 81 3/8. Then I think the stock goes to 75 and closes at 76 1/8. I think all this happens Monday. I don't see the 60s for MSFT no matter what happens in the future. If it does go to the 60s, back up the truck.<<

I think the stock will open down 50 to 65 points. In the mean time jackson will continue taking his viagra pills and continue his hard on for Bill Gates. Sometime during the day on Monday as the Early Edition indicates, Jackson will have a a physical upset and Gates will come to the rescue and save him. The stock of Microsoft rebounds 75 points and a motion will made my Jackson to dismiss entirely the antitrust case ruling against Microsoft stating that the case was decided on prejudice and abuse and not on fact or ethics. He will thank Bill for his innovation, creativity and hard work in building one of the greatest Corporations in America. Lets see if I am right about this??

vc21,

I remember you as the qqq expert. Can you tell me what is the ratio between MSFT and qqq? Just wondering how much MsFT may impact the qqq tomorrow, in addition to the DOW and Naz.
