Frank: What are you smoking? Down 50 points - Selling at 10x earnings their portfolio of investments are worth nmore than that- they are second only to CMGI in the incubator business. They are about to have a gang buster year and that is what counts - earnings. There are no remedies that are practical that can do any lasting damage to MSFT. You are a sower of gross pessimism. But in a country populated by twits that elected Clinton twice and can stomach partial birth abortion anything can happen. JFD

I bet it's over 90 by week after next or sooner. There will be some panic sellers at the open Monday, but then cooler heads will prevail.

After analyzing this situation, my thought is that the judge, Janet, and Joel have now had their one big moment, and that's all they get! Ain't nothing gonna happen to Microsoft except protracted legal proceedings. Why? Because they haven't done anything!

P.S. Well, unlike joel, janet, and judge, I'm about to be joined by a super sexy woman, lol. Good luck!

I think the stock will open down 50 to 65 points.

What color is the sky on your planet?

No way. there will be softness premarket and some may sell which did not sell on friday at weak prices because the bidders will hold themselves back a bit (I do), but then some may throw in some puts and take out some calls.

While I doubt that it will close in the green, the average post implies that a good part of the expectations has been priced in.

I was surprised that it didn't sell of under 86, 87 in a light bidders market on friday night (with the additional effect that not too few seeked to close their position before weekend). the lucky buyers of 86 on Friday may actually get a small award...

Noone can afford to kill corporate USA..., in good faith. Soon the officials will backpedal.
