This is a contradiction in terms. One cannot purchase a "naked" put. One sells a naked put. It is a written put not covered by a short equity position.

Kash, thanks for your comments.

However I question the value of investment info when it seems to have only two approaches: runs on one track (buy intc) and criticizes unmercifully the other discussed investment, AMD. I mean who continually trashes a stock they are long in......is that called fatalistic investing?

I rather get my investment counseling from another, more sane source.
