Hello,

Got here by way of mention on an RFMD thread.

Not asking anyone to do any DD for me but just help me to understand how this fingerprint i.d. technology might be employed on a cell phone? Can see it on a larger footprint item like a laptop, or a palm pilot but curious where it can be employed on a cell phone? Or am I barking up the wrong tree, here.

Secondly, wouldn't speech recognition be a simpler/better way than fingerprint i.d. to act as a password ( if it was available and, frankly, don't know for sure if it is or isen't for cell phone use )?

TIA

L
