Interesting that you bring up the O.J. Simpson trial.
Some friends and I went to a restaurant in Coconut Grove (in the Miami area) last Friday night, and upon arriving at the restaurant we ran into O.J. Simpson with his girlfriend. I came within one foot of Simpson. Apparently he still has some money, because he paid for his drink with a hundred dollar bill.

Oh, I understand the fundamental differences. I guess my quandary is wondering why a securities crime/violation is not classified as criminal. I mean how is it less offensive than grand theft auto, which is considered criminal. I wonder this because a criminal conviction would carry a far greater sting than a civil injunction brought about against a person, if for nothing more than it's being far more difficult to hide.
