Looks like THQ really hit this one out of the park. Galv posted this on AOL, I think from NextGen:

page 108: Wrestlemania 2000 (N64), "Wonderful gameplay even overshadows the lack of quality audio." Awarded 4
out of 5 stars ("excellent"). Competitor WCW Mayhem 64 was reviewed on the same page and only rated 1 out of 5
stars ("bad")

Remember the shorts telling us that EA was going to eat our lunch? Well, that prediction didn't come to pass.

7-9 new WWF skus next year to go with the two from next week.

Marc

>>There was also some reluctance to approve a board recommendation for ...was it an increase in authorized shares? Anyway, you know who you are and exactly what was said. What say you now?<<

It certainly wasn't about the number of authorized shares--a number something like 90 million which wasn't changed during the reverse split. I think the debate was over what seemed to be excessive options being granted without a higher strike price and no holding period. The impression was--and to a large extent still is--that these options are flipped very regularly. When the stock was under pressure, the selling of these options added to the drag on the price and created the appearance of little management confidence evidenced by extensive insider selling and virtually no insider buying. I am not against options but I would like to see a reasonable minimum holding period and/or a strike price above the closing price the day the options are granted. Options should give the principals a longer term stake in the company.
