Don't be disheartened Randall,

The difference between broke and rich is a penny. They will take trillions of pennies.

I remember when long distance was a buck a minute.

It is called finding a way.

selah,

V.

>>Can you imagine the money to be made...<<

I believe one of the presenters today mentioned the figure of $32/mo for an "all you can eat" wireless data plan. But then again I was still agog over the penetration topic, so I hope somebody else was listening and took better notes.

Thanks cfoent for 'straightening out' the bicycle, car, submarine issue. (see, I'm still fuzzy)

"In the meantime, the cost of wireless is about $10 per month plus 10 cents per minute or more from Sprint or Bell Atlantic (coming soon: bam.com for a lot less than 500kbs."

Hmmm. Seems to me I've heard of a wireless carrier offering unlimited wireless access for around $30/month. Let's see...who was that?

Oh, yea, Leap Wireless. Of course they don't offer roaming outside their service area. As long as I can take my powerbook out on the deck and surf the web at 500k/sec I'll be happy.
