but, its not just pie-in-the-sky. mcom's richocet service has been rolled out in san francisco.

i am not tech savvy, and the post i made was from yahoo. the poster questioned the advantages of hdr in light of mcom's presently available product. i reposted it here, because, this board is the best at debating this type of issue. <g>

also, since wcom is buying sprint pcs, would they not stay with a product they already have?

will mcom's product and hdr compete in the same data market? (i understand that richocet does not support voice.)

and do either/both products render dsl and cable modem obsolete?
