Dwight: Why is it you have to buy a computer from the near monopolist box makers. Why don't you buy one from one of the little white box guys.? That would seem to fit your leanings to eschew the dominance of big bad MSFT. I hear DR-DOS is giving away a 16 bit computer with the first 100 people who buy their most recent O/S. JFD

Dwight... Hope you won't quit posting, since you have shown an ability to lay out EXACTLY what the issues are. And any reasonable person can see, from your examples, that what Microsoft has done is not only "allegedly" illegal, as the DoJ claims, but it is damned unfair to a lot of us consumers as well.
Anyone who thought it was an "injustice' that OJ got off would support a pretty strong remedy against MSFT's actions, just as a matter of justice and "fairness".
Thanks VERY much for your logical, precise statment of the issues. Folks come to the MSFT thread to get a "balanced" reading of both sides. Without folks like you posting, it would be a pretty bleak
religious reading among the Microsoft Monks..
Thanks again!
