Online Auctions A Hit For QXL

Shares in online auctions company QXL.com jumped after the group announced a surge in business.
The company said it now had 246,000 registered users and 130,000 full members of its online auction house.

The group has seen its shares climb steadily since flotation at 195p a share and the figures fueled a 17% leap to 334p.
