Brian,
You have ignored every question I have asked of you, yet you insist on a definition that you already know. I will answer your question and doubt seriously that you answer mine.

Unconditional love- the aspect of caring for(deeply) and putting someone else's welfare far ahead of yours without any condition or pretense. Someone (or thing) that you desire to bestow great affection upon.

Answer this in your own words, don't quote the bible, just give me your opinion. don't give me the weak cop out of "the bible says it better". I will take the lesser answer as long as it is in your own words.

If a parent tortures a child,(for any reason) that parent is considered to be an evil monster, A reprobate that is looked upon as the lowest form of humanity and a blight on society.

Yet you view this attribute as a great aspect of divinity?
Why?

Unconditional love is considdered by the world's greatest thinkers as the highest of ideals. Yet you worship a god that you claim doesn't love unconditionally. why?

Mark

From conversations with god,

"Your teachers have told you of an angry god, a jealous god, a god who needs to be needed. that is not god at all, but a neurotic substitute for that which would be a deity."
