To all:

So let me get this straight. For six months CMTO refused to show their hole cards to CableLabs, and therefore failed DOCSIS certification, because they thought somebody there might steal their technology. Now that they've finally been forced to show all their cards to keep their stock from going to zero, the guy who could steal their secrets has done so and gone to work for their competitor. The stock goes up because people are now much more certain of certification, but in the long run they're screwed because their competitor has the goods. Calling Oliver Stone...

As you probably realized, that was a sarcastic comment
about the protection non-disclosure agreements provide.
Contrary to how it appeared, I'm not too concerned about
the CableLab's CTO going to TERN. If TERN decides to take
advantage of any proprietary info, hopefully CMTO will be
focusing on next generation products by the time TERN
brings to market anything based on it.
