JIM: I am expecting the DOW to hold at the 10520 level Some of the extra hot stocks today with good volume: MWAR: Up 66.19% on 1,074,300 The day H was 3 3/4. This DesMoines IA Co. has announced that MOT is using some of their RTOS on MOT new cellular phone. JFAX: Up 58.09% on volume of 3,850,000 The H was 6 3/4 ZITL: Up 51.12% on volume of 1,428,200.I remember well this one a couple of years back. They announced their deal with IBM when the stock was around 2. Their deal with IBM for the newer controllers fell through when the stock was around 16.Then they went on a wild trip up after they announced they were holding a % of a company that had a fix for the Y2K problem. The stock went over 100!!! before it tanked. BWEB: Up 46.3% on volume of 2,853,000 The H was 44 3/4 NETP: Up 43.75% on volume of 4.408.900. The H was 27 CNTR: Up 40.53% on volume of 1,509,000 The H was 1 1/16 It closed at 31/32 The 52W H is 1.438 ALYS: Up 40.49% on volume of 932,000. The H was 6 11/32it closed at 5 5/16. It made a new H today. Previous H was 4.5 CNRS: Up 39.2% on volume of 1,680,200 The H was 5 3/4 They had news about their B2B galaxy. WPNE: Up 19.54% on volume of 1,680,200 It closed at 13. The H was 13 7/16 which was another 54w H GMGC: Up 17.46% on volume of 1,608,900 It closed at the day's H at 2 5/16 I think any of the above % gains would probably be good enough for most people even for a longer time period than a day!!! On the big board some others to keep on the watch list: SOC ANF CR WDC I spent some time this evening looking at some of the charts and news on some of these, but I do not want to make this post too long.
