For someone who doesn't much care for the man's writing, you are certainly taking some trouble<g>...I am sorry to disagree with the Nobel Committee, of course.... There are various styles. I like Henry James more than Hemingway, although his diction can be carried to extremes at times as well. In any event, the plain style was better represented by Orwell... I could have posted a lot more sites for both Lewis and Chesterton.... "Litterateurs" is a very nice word, and was used for a reason, because I meant both writers of narrative prose and critics, and didn't want to type out both.....
