Duane, Klein said he was open to a settlemnet, but (paraphrase) that MS would have to correct the blatent abuses that Judge Jackson had found in his Finding of Fact.

Its going to have to mean real change for MS to get a settlement.
After all, Justice sees the Findings as an overwhelming confirmation of their case.

I will be most disappointed if, after we find that Microsoft is willing to start playing by the rules, and follow the Law, that the DoJ wants the last ounce of blood for all their troubles. I don't see how any of us win with an extreme solution, anymore than when Microsoft was out beating the hell out of potential competition.

Now you're finally starting to catch a glimmer of the truth.
