Ebase One is actually right here in Houston, and I know they are for real. There is another, privately held company called Interliant also here in Houston, and they're trying to move toward applications on line as well....and they're worlds behind EBAS in their logic and approach. EBAS has an opportunity to own the ASP business in much the same way that some other companies whose names I won't mention owned the ISP and portal businesses. There will be a ton of competition, but most of those I'm aware of are after the Fortune 1000, and are neglecting the middle markets.
My company is an internet/e-business development firm, and we were guilty of blowing off the middle markets (companies from $100MM to $1BB in revenues), because we had traditionally made our bones in the Fortune 1000. Things are changing, and Ebase One is positioned perfectly for their target. These guys are going to hit it big, IMO. I won't make any wild predictions, but based on what we've seen some totally worhless issues do in the internet space over the past year just imagine what these guys can do fulfilling a real need in the e-business space. If they come up with some transactional B2B EC applications, watch out!

I think the mention in Information Week is also helping the stock.
