BR...

The use of "old world" is called "positioning". It's a marketing tactic to very clearly state the differences between to companies or two products. You may dislike the term or even perceive is as inaccurate but it is simply positioning and posturing and it's absolutely required in this and every market. It a basic marketing tactic and it works. To not use it is to battle with one hand tied behind your back...Cisco's use of positioning has been excellent. You shouldn't chastize the company for that. fwiw Nortel is using the same old world/new world analogy in their latest Open IP announcement. Rather than take exception to it I applaud their marketing tactic and have said as much on that thread... using Cisco's own words against them - all you can say is "well done".

Me thinks you take it too personally. Remember - these are investments...and putting a couple of bucks on each horse I think makes good investment sense.
