Even Compaq is getting on the thin client wagon - they estimate 50% of Business users would get all the functionality they need in the Ipaq $499 computer. PC customers, like Calista Flockhart, are getting thinnner and thinner... If 50% of wintel machines are getting thinner no one is going to write fat software anymore - a ubiquitous fat client model needs the support of ISV's and PC vendors to survive - beyond that everyone is embracing the Web Model - granted you are quite the contrarian after all.

James,

These people are zealots and they are delusional.

SUNW the great innovator has not innovated much of anything.
In fact anyone who does innovate has to leave the company because its dominated by moonies.

The originators of the changes to C++ now called JAVA are long gone. But the Moonies are still beating the drums of arrogance.

If it still anything like the SUNW of yore, there are a lot of drugs going down in the bathrooms and parking lots. <G>
