Bux, People have to think of HDR in the terms of voice over IP for your statement to be true. They are having a hard enough time now with landlines, let alone doing voice over IP wireless. It's time for the wireless operators to start thinking in terms of IP, the sooner the better. They should also become more then wireless ISP.

i am not concerned with mkt reaction tomorrow morning.
i am concerned about the long term implications of the new standards. not having a technical background i simply want to know did we/qualcomm win lose or draw. especially since there is a new standard that came out of nowhere(dect).
thanks

<<I think the standards are not as important here as many assume.>>

Bux, one of the most important things that Dr. J said in the HDR presentation to me was "Technology is moving faster than the standard bodies". To paraphrase: They will just have to keep up, we can not wait. I love it.
