Good for you Diamond!

Corporate America is seeing a small stream of talented, newly rich baby boomers walk out the door a few years earlier than was expected, if these threads are any indication.

Diamond,

i don't need to know the specifics on amounts, but i was wondering what your plan on retiring is. Are you selling the whole kit and caboodle and then dumping it into a CD or T-Bond to live off the interest? Or maybe you're selling bits and pieces every so often? or perhaps you're selling covered calls and try to catch the premiums?

i'm always curious in learning different ways of being able to avoid the need for a day job.

Thanks in advance and of course, you need not answer if this is too personal a question.

EepOpp

ps. Congratulations on your new life.

Hey, Rick: just caught up on your retirement plans; good on you, man!
I think we will see a lot of very relaxed Q shareholders come February in SD, don't you. I've been so nervous this past week or so, with the 20-30 per day stuff; I keep buying cheap puts for downside protection for the retracement that never comes, gggggg.
Gave up on the covered calls deal entirely, forgetaboutit with the Q.
I am very happy for you and your success.
Hope to say so in person in SD.
Regards,
James
P.S. remember those Leaps we talked about a couple of months ago; well suffice to say that I'll be able to buy that seaside cottage I've been thinking about for years with the gains. Yessssssssss!
EDIT: supposed to be PM, Doh
