Lack of accountability for our personal actions is what this all gets back to. Actions do have consequences. Sex can produce babies. The disturbing part is that the general concensus seems to be that balancing an irresponsible person's desire for a career or some other personal gratification is more important than preserving the potential of the being created by the irresponsible act.
