I don't have any proof that Ted has quit... Quit what? Drinking, killing, or screwing prostitutes in DC restaurants?

I am not afraid of judgment. Ted K. is a disgrace, his family's personal tragedies notwithstanding. They do not excuse his behavior nor what happened to Mary Jo Kopechne.

Your advice was well taken re: going into the branch and telling the mgt. that the ATM electronically debited my acct. and gave me NO currency...problem is, it was 10pm

Did you put your complaint in writing (certified mail, return receipt requested)? Also, most of the ATMs in my area have a phone in them which connects to a customer service hotline which is available 24 hours per day. I've had to use it in a similar situation. Did you "mug" the situation for the security camera? If the Branch Manager will not respond, then you need to go over her head to a Regional or Area manager. If all esle fails, contact the consumer advocate in your state's Department of Banking. The Bank is usually required to respond promptly to a regulatory inquiry. JLA

Judge not, lest ye be judged
Ah, yes... The liberal mantra. Don't judge my foolish behavior and that frees you up to do whatever the heck you feel like, too. Leading inexorably, of course, to a society that judges no one for their actions. Great.

The fact that he's survived the assassination of 3 brothers and a nephew commands a bit of respect, if not compassion...

Did I miss a couple of assassinations? Didn't realize that JFK Jr. was a murdered politician... Hmmm.

Compassion? Well, certainly. Respect?? I don't see the connection.

Is there a statute of limitations on how long we have to stand solemnly and speak in reverential tones? Look, I'm sorry that JFK and RFK were killed. Truly. But that doesn't mean EMK's policies, bias, and liberalism are suddenty sanctified. BTW, did JFK have respect and compassion for Diem's family after he assassinated Diem?

LC, you, quoting the Bible? That's about as much blasphemy as I have ever seen. TD
