Scott, in speaking to 'remedy' went a lot farther than the open API stuff, and volunteered some stuff that I had never heard before. He said that M$ had "threatened accounts with going onto an 'enemies list' should they do business with Sun.

Needless to say, Scott is suggesting relief against that, is seeking "transparent pricing" (no hidden contracts), of course, the "Publish" thing, and as a bonus remedy, precluding M$ from using it's monopoly CASH from buying intellectual property or buying customers.

He used the Spyglass example as to how M$ got into the browser business (using 'dirtball' business practices), and used Visio as a recent example.

Wow

Please. NT had nothing to do with DOS. NT
came out DEC West. Microsoft picked it up
when DEC restructured after pissing
away the opportunity to make Unix a
commercial operating system and make
a ton of money doing it like Sun.
