You need a new broker. I have been suggesting Q for some time. One client took me up on it in 1997. We bought $5800 worth in the high 60's (pre split) only to see it tank to the 30's twice. He hung in there. Sold $4200 worth in April to pay taxes. His Q now worth about $45,000 on his net investment of $1600. We recently rode LWIN from 27 and scaled out and then into G* at 23.50. Unfortunately, he and I are the only true believers in my customer base. But a few have signed on of late. My biggest problem with Q is I keep writing puts and it keeps running higher, so I have to roll them up faster than the time value deteriorates. From $200 to $300, had to scale back as margin requirments went up. Premiums didn't drop very fast today. $300 December puts were still about $13 at the close.

dealer, how about this broker story. i was with a client and while i was sitting in her office she was on the phone with her broker selling calls on msft and csco. when she got off i told her about Q, 156 at that time. she calls her broker right back and starts asking all the basic uniformed questions, the pe, revenue and etc.and then hangs up. i said why didn't you buy any. my broker said the 52 wk low was 18 and with these types of stks it could go back there at anytime! needless to say she has since fired her broker. 100
