Many Microsoft investors know exactly where the value of their company resides, and also recognize that this value is not threatened in any way by the DOJ, AGs, and competitors. I fully agree. And that's why MSFT retains the dominant position in my portfolio. In fact, I see little indication that the DOJ or the AG's are interested in threatening the value of MSFT stock. A leak a few months ago revealed that they attempted to hire bankers to analyze the stock-market reaction to various potential remedies. Unfortunately, they talked to sleazy bankers who ran to the press, but I'm sure they've found more trustworthy analysts in the meantime.
