heinz,
what are your thoughts on the fed meeting, imo their is no way that people can make the argument that the market has priced in another .25 basis points raise,,imo if the fed raises the market will go south and keep going that way because it would create a sense of unease going into the dec. meeting, imo if the fed raises and keeps a tightening bias it would be the worst for the markets,,but imo the fed will raise and the market will go up,,it is the only illogical thing that can happen and that is the way the market has been trading nowadays, look at qcom.i owned it 3 years ago at 30 pre split and sold at 147 pre split an now it is 800 post split,,it is a great company but i can't believe that the market is trading it at a growth rate of a net company, but this is a company that actually has earnings and overhead,i think short term it is overbought but long term it is a great company, this market is nuts, look at the cap of yhoo and qcom they are valued at about the same and that imo is ridiculous, how can the market say that two companies, one with a p/e of 1400 and one with a p/e of 70 are worth the same??i am currently thinking that fed meeting in the same week as options expire could mean disaster but not in this market,,look at the put/call ratio on yhoo 7to 1 call in the strikes of 170- 175,what do you think of that ??
