Yup..classic hype driven price action...while I'm not complaining(long at 76)..she should sell off a bit on Mon unless the news is anything but cataclysmic.....quit trading this beast..put it away and fuggedaboutit!!!!

Interesting comparison as to how DoubleClick and America Online have shadowed each other's crayons on this chart almost exactly in the first chart. The second chart shows a pretty strong correlation as to how the whole basket of Godzilla stocks seem to be trading in tandem. This excercise doesn't really say much except the market is keeping them all within a similar range despite the fact they all have different business models.

The IBM/DoubleClick news actually came out on November 9, but the market didn't really decide to respond until Friday, the 12th. It could possibly signal a break out to new highs, but there are other factors involved. Lycos for one. A quick check on Lycos as of recent turns up ads generated by DoubleClick. I wouldn't be surprised to hear an announcement soon.
