matt - although i'm now selling them, i got tremendous value out of richard wyckoff's (out of print, but now reprinted) books on stock market techniques, his wall street adventures...all of which gave me great insight into the market 60-90 years ago, and show that things haven't changed too much - they just happen quicker. i agree RE: most of the trading books; the best sellers are good to borrow from a library or a friend, but not 'must haves'. elder's grew on me, and now i agree with you...
