matt - although i'm now selling them, i got *tremendous* value out of richard wyckoff's (out of print, but now reprinted) books on stock market techniques, his wall street adventures...all of which gave me great insight into the market 60-90 years ago, and show that things haven't changed too much - they just happen quicker.

i agree RE: most of the trading books; the best sellers are good to borrow from a library or a friend, but not 'must haves'. elder's grew on me, and now i agree with you...
