Someone, PLEASE help me with my math (a lifelong refrain). How does 22 percent = total control? If company X puts $48 a share on the table and enough shares are moved......

Ownership of 22% of any company is a huge number. Getting an equal number of shares(no less 50%+) to counter this is virtually impossible since the next largest shareholder has something less than 5%, I believe. It might have been possible if FIDO had kept their holdings at 9%+, but, they sold(smartly) and probably have only a couple of % left now.

W.T.S: The use of Total Control merely implies that T.M has near total Control over the Board members.(His Cronies).

In a hostile take over, the Buyer gets 50.01% of the shares and then replaces the Board with his men. The trouble applying this to NN is that T.M has promised to take his R&D experts with him to one of his start ups. These threats are often made by original Owners of Tech Companies that have foundered but are good M&A targets.
