That, I understand, Doug. Thanks. I am of the opinion that a "good price" will buy enough shares to fight TM and the "right price" will buy enough shares to send him packing (if that's what he wants).

As for brilliant R&D folk, I suspect they like money as much as they like Terry. If not, get some new ones.....I presume the intellectual property conveys with title to the company.

IMO, hostile works - but, only if the first offer is strong enough to create real momentum.

Doug, I doubt TM will take his engineers in a take over
attempt and restart business elsewhere. This is a very
labor intensive, capital intensive business. With
TMs current record of return on capital I doubt that
there will be too many folks investing in him.
There are two parts to a business: A tech part ( TM good at
that ) and a business side, TM bad at that. Investment
Bankers understand very well the great importance of
business saavy. I don't think TM will have many followers.
Also engineers would be crazy to leave when, if acquired by
a larger co, they will have the safety of their jobs
guaranteed and have prospects of more R&D money flow to
take them to new heights.
Also, few of us are indispesable: there are many new
engineering, hungry, young grads, full of energy,
ready and willing to take the ball and run.

I say put an offer on the table and let us see what happens,

TA
