Fairy tales at least have a more impressive literary connotation.
("Edwarda! You're reading fairy tales?!"
"Of course not! I'm researching the deep symbolism of the dark figure in the Grimm Brothers
")

As opposed to cutting out clothes for scantily clad paper movie stars who spent all their days changing outfits and saying things like, "Well, darling, where shall we dine this evening?" and "You look simply ravishing in pink!"
I did have Pat Boone living in sin with Debbie Reynolds- that was cool. And Gower Champion left Marge for Patti Page. It was just a scandalous Peyton Place in penni's room.

Did you ever notice that the men always had t-shirts and shorts on? Or even long pants? And socks!
Funny- the undressed women all wore swim suits and high heels, but SOCKS! RIcky Nelson had on green athletic shorts, a striped t-shirt, and black socks and loafers! He should have sued the makers for bad taste.

What kind of sexual discrimination was that?? WHy didn't the men have on Speedos? MAybe you weren't allowed to show naked pecs in the 50s.

Is till have my paperdolls packed away. They must be almost antiques by now.
