You summed it up correctly. We should have recognized the problems after the Pitt game. They have been there all along. We should also be mindful of the lack of OL being sent to the pros by PSU in recent years. Something isn't right with the talent level. I posted earlier in the year that this was the worst looking OL I've seen (especially run blocking) since 1988. I haven't changed my views on this.

I have a lot more to say but that will be later. I sit near the visiting team section. Even their band taunted us. I hope Joe & co is taking notice.

No to Saverin interview. There may be something to this age this afterall.

>>It has come to this for Penn State: "We're playing for pride [at
Michigan State]," Paterno said. "Ten and two isn't the worst thing in
the world."<<

Can you imagine Bowden, Spurrier or Carr saying something like that? And PS wants us to spring for luxury boxes? I don't think so.

JM,

I don't ever recall a PSU team having a 10 point lead late in the 4th quarter & losing - add to that the 2 straight losses to inferior teams, at home, in Nov. and that says it all.

I am truly saddened by the thoughts I had after that game yesterday. Picture 108,000 seat Beaver Stadium in 2 years with a crowd of about 75,000 people - this is what we can look forward to in the years to come.
