Hi HT, Yes, a bit of Scandal in Conservative City!! Although Hillsdale and Washington, DC aren't much alike, it appears that their leaders both tend towards hypocrisy!!

I graduated just before George Roche took over as president of Hillsdale College. I have to admit he did one heck of a job building up the assets of the school's endowment. I introduced him to a group of about 300 "fans" in Milwaukee a few years ago. I told them,

"In 1971 two remarkable things happened at Hillsdale College:
I graduated!
and
George Roche became the college's President!"

I guess I'll have to change my speech for the next visit here!!

I have to say that I don't mind seeing a change. G.R. was there nearly 30 years and it was time for some new blood and a change in scenery.

Best regards, Tom
