Re:"Did somebody say "AthWIPE GLUT"

Let me understand this.

If Intel offers a deal to someone it's an incentive.

If AMD offers a deal to someone it's a glut.

Up is down and down is up. Is Alice In Wonderland your favorite book ?

Paul - RE: "AMD is offering COMPONENTS to Best Buy Employees - at DEEP DISCOUNTS !!"

In August, Best Buy was offering a PIII 500 and Intel BX motherboard for the same $200 to its employees. I know this because I asked an employee if they get any special deals on systems and they said they are offered this deal.

AMD is offering COMPONENTS to Best Buy Employees - at DEEP
DISCOUNTS !!

Did somebody say "AthWIPE GLUT" ?"...

First of all I don't think you need to misspell my name in that fashion.
You've been warned before.
Secondly, Intel has offered the Best Buy employees basically the same thing in the past. Lately however, I doubt they have enough Coppermines to make a matching offer. When they get the bugs worked out they will probably answer in kind.
