Hope you're right Gary, but I'm skeptical. The trial lawyers have a very strong lobby and a lot of congress people are lawyers. Maybe I'm jaded, but I wouldn't bet a lot of dollars on that bill amounting to anything that would hurt the trial lawyers. Its pretty similar to the no-fault concept in auto insurance. The biggest winners in damage claims are the lawyers and they fight no fault to the bitter end anywhere it comes up.
