Wow!-Thanks Mark for the breakdown of the potential and inherent problems with the Velocity software.
I will inquire further and not install it until I am confident about it, if at all!

Mark Z, you may have just solved the mystery of why I've been suffering so many crashes on a system with 128MB of memory...I don't have your technical bent so I really appreciate you pointing out that issue with Velocity. I'm not sure if my problem coincided with installation of Velocity but it may well have. I trust that if I leave it open and it "times out", forcing a re-entry of my password, that this does not have the same effect as closing and relaunching the program, correct?
