Wow.....that was fast. :~)

A couple of things to digest. First, it is a non-exclusive license. No terms regarding Lucent exiting the market which is why it is non-exclusive. There is alot of hidden meaning behind this, but not worth wasting thread space on it. Second, nothing in the agreement speaks to future issued patents, or those pending at the time of the agreement. Again, alot of hidden meaning behind this as well, but not worth wasting thread space on it. Bottom line is from the press release, I figure Lucent had AMSC dead to rights and they paid up...of course for how long doesn't appear absolutely clear (by this I mean whether future patents are included too or not).
