Aside from the lack of K6's, I am not sure that the market is large enough currently to warrant a big oem...the small ones may be just fine. As for Packard Bell/NEC they simply closed their US manu. facilities...that doesn't mean that NEC can't get involved in the future.

I like the concept and I like that AMD is looking for niche plays to expand its presence in the marketplace. I believe its the same kind of thinking that got Apple moving again.

Do you have an estimate of how many that is?

AMD didn't give any guidance on this other than at least 4M.
