Jim, re: Intel / AMD execution

Every company screws up. The difference is that when Intel makes an execution error, they have a stable of products to fall back on, with revenue and great profits.

My comments were sarcastic. With Mr. Sanders track record, as an investor I wouldn't put any faith in his comments. As far as ML analysts, I hope you don't think I'm going to trade on their opinions, except in a contrarian manner.

Nothing has changed from a factual, fundamental viewpoint. From a sentiment viewpoint, everything has changed, and that spells OPPORTUNITY.

If Intel hasn't revised their guidance upward by the second week in December, then I might lighten up on my positions.

"Intel is now a couple dollars less than when I bailed, should I buy back now or wait for a few hundred "cents" lower? <G>"

This week for sure.

John

Depending upon your TAX situation, you may have to wait until Intel is 20 or 30% or 40% LOWER.

Otherwise, your tax bill will exceed any marginal gain in your selling - and buy back - of Intel's stock.
