-Scot, I don't think the article is that far off....the writer may be first assuming that all that is produced will be shipped. If that is correct then the current guidance AMD has given for chip production is a total of 1,350,000: 350 thousand in Q3 and 1 mil in Q4.

We already have decided that Sanders was sandbagging. And he did say that yields were good so its not far fetched to have them producing 50 to 150,000 thousand more chips than the current guidance would indicate. So the article you posted may very well be correct.

As for break even all I have heard is that AMD needs revs of $850 mil to break even in Q4. If the analyst's report that was posted this AM is correct, AMD should make 900+ mil revs in Q4 with a small profit as well.
