<< Has anyone noticed how the thickness, blackness of the type on SI (old version) changed to be same as the new version this weekend? Mighty hard to read.>>

Mine is the same as it's been for years, JGoren.

The font being displayed can be affected by several different option settings on your web browser. Is it possible that you modified these, or that you are looking at SI from a different machine? I once spent several hours tweaking these settings in an attempt to get the new SI working, but I gave up and went back to the old SI. -Greg

P.S. Read the Barrons article and tried to find out about the rollout by clicking around on the G* web site today. Eventually got to a distributor, which referred me back to G*. I'll keep checking back. I think it'll be popular here in Alaska once it's fully operational.

Qualcomm HDR and Globalstar.
Does anyone know whether it will be possible to use HDR devices through Globalstar? I suppose it is, since HDR builds on CDMA.
What is the total capacity of Globalstar in terms of bits/second? In others words, how many 2Mb/s HDR connections can be serviced simultaneously?
