Tim, I position trade and when I have a "free" day I will have fun daytrading ...this year I am up 305% - but I have entertained doing daytrading for a living - but I am not sure that I could beat my current dayjob + posiiton trading, the dayjob forces me to hold longer, and it usual;y pays - I looked at the stocks I have sold over the last 2 years - 90% are trading HIGHER now than when I sold..

Company Press Release
Sapient and Vitria Partner to Provide Innovative Internet Solutions
Partners Deliver Online Order Management System for American Century Investments
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 1999--Sapient Corporation (Nasdaq:SAPE - news), an innovative e-services consultancy, and Vitria Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:VITR - news), a leading provider of e-business platform software, today announced a strategic alliance to accelerate the speed with which emerging and evolving businesses transform themselves into e-businesses. Under the terms of the agreement, Sapient will provide strategic Internet consulting, including digital business strategy, experience modeling, creative and technology services, in concert with Vitria's BusinessWare® solutions.

The alliance will offer e-business solutions that automate the business processes of an enterprise and its partners, allowing clients to gain insight and control over their business processes across, as well as beyond, their enterprise. These solutions are based on the combined strengths of Vitria BusinessWare as a platform for e-business and Sapient's proven expertise in Internet consulting.

Sapient and Vitria will jointly market and sell their solutions. Together, they will leverage Sapient's expertise in helping businesses maintain a competitive edge by tapping into the power of the Internet to manage the flow of information and transactions, automatically and transparently.

The two companies have recently demonstrated the success of the relationship through a joint project to build an online order management system for the brokerage arm of American Century Investments -- the $90 billion, Kansas City-based investment management firm.

''The American Century Brokerage assignment included automating our business rules activities and increasing the overall scalability of our Order Review Management System,'' said Greg Markovich, vice president and director of retail applications at American Century. ''The in-depth consulting strengths of Sapient and the high-quality software applications of Vitria enabled us to choose and implement the system in eleven weeks -- start to finish.''

''Companies will thrive in today's e-business marketplace by reducing time to market, lowering operating costs, and increasing customer satisfaction,'' said Boyd Scroggins, vice president at Sapient. ''The Vitria-Sapient alliance provides the business process automation and e-business transformation services necessary for making these goals a reality. By combining our brokerage industry knowledge and consulting expertise with Vitria's robust e-business platform, we were able to complete the American Century project rapidly and in a way that met their critical business needs.''

''We are excited to partner with an innovative e-services consultancy like Sapient who is committed to providing full-service e-business transformation to our mutual clients,'' said JoMei Chang, Vitria's founder and chief executive officer. ''We are proud that our joint e-business platform is the basis of American Century's innovative, new online brokerage system and believe that Sapient and Vitria's alliance will lead to continued successes.''
